NA/CPCC
The NA/CPCC Committee brings together the work of the Needs Assessment (NA) and Comprehensive Planning/Continuum of Care (CPCC) committees.
The committee gathers and reviews information about the needs and experiences of people living with HIV. This information helps the Planning Council make informed decisions, identify gaps in services, and guide the development and improvement of HIV care and services across the San Antonio TGA.
Responsibilities
The NA/CPCC Committee uses community input, data, and service information to help guide HIV planning throughout the San Antonio TGA. Its responsibilities include:

Guiding planning decisions by providing data and information used for Ryan White grant applications and the Integrated HIV Prevention and Care Plan.

Assessing community needs by working with the Recipient/Administrative Agency to identify needs, service gaps, and priorities.

Supporting statewide planning by participating in the Statewide Coordinated Statement of Need.

Developing Standards of Care and helping define Ryan White service categories and Units of Service.

Supporting the Integrated HIV Prevention and Care Plan by helping develop the plan and regularly reviewing progress toward its goals and objectives.

Reviewing pharmacy assistance services by reviewing and approving the San Antonio TGA Ryan White Part A Local Pharmacy Assistance Program Drug Formulary.

Coordinating with Quality Management by maintaining representation on the Quality Management Committee and sharing updates with the NA/CPCC Committee and Planning Council.

Supporting other Planning Council activities as assigned by the Planning Council.
What is a Needs Assessment?
The Needs Assessment helps us understand the experiences, needs, and priorities of people living with HIV throughout the San Antonio Transitional Grant Area (TGA).
Information collected from the community helps the Planning Council identify gaps in services, establish priorities, and make informed decisions about Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program funding.
Needs Assessment Survey for 2027
The San Antonio Ryan White Planning Council is conducting a Needs Assessment Survey across the 11-county San Antonio Transitional Grant Area (TGA) to better understand the needs of people living with HIV, including individuals who may be undiagnosed, unaware of their HIV status, not currently receiving HIV care, or not connected to Ryan White services.
The survey covers Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Medina, and Wilson Counties.
Findings will help identify gaps and unmet needs and guide future Ryan White Part A services and funding priorities.
The survey is running until 9/30/26.
